History In The Making: Documenting the History of Philadelphia on Film with Sam Katz

Join filmmaker Sam Katz for a behind the lens look at his award-winning documentaries that highlight Philadelphia’s rich, complicated, and diverse history. The founder of History Making Productions will talk about why it’s important and how to find new stories behind the old ones we think we already know.

There will also be a screening of Sam’s film Philadelphia: The Great Experiment – Corrupt and Contented: 1920-1944 following his session.
