The 4-1-1 on Food Rescue: Building Bridges to Help End Hunger

Working with donations from grocery stores, retailers, restaurants, caterers, and universities, Philly Food Rescue utilizes a volunteer-based transportation network to save and redistribute surplus food donations non-profits throughout the city serving households in need, faith-based institutions, the public housing authority, workforce programs, schools, soup kitchens, senior centers and healthcare facilities.  Be part of a food rescue mission in real time via video as food heroes pick up and drop off donations that help reduce waste and end hunger.
