The Future of Social Innovation: Centering Communities of Color in Philly

The challenges facing Philadelphia and the nation are often the result of man-made policies and practices fueled by racial bias and structural inequality. Unfortunately, many of the solutions to those challenges also perpetuate these biases, for example, facial recognition software coupled with predictive analytics that can automate bias against people of color.

Can social innovation create sustainable solutions that address the root causes of racism and structural inequality? The speakers will challenge the existing paradigm, and offer new ways for innovators to engage communities of color.
