The Right Stuff. From Philly to Beyond with Dr. Guy Bluford

Sending a person to space is arguably the greatest example of innovation in human history, an experience still reserved for only the brightest, most capable, and elite explorers. Former NASA astronaut Dr. Guion (“Guy”) Bluford, Jr. is among that select group, and in 1983 became the first African American in space. Come to hear the Philadelphia hometown hero talk with Derrick Pitts, the Chief Astronomer at the Franklin Institute, about his career, innovation, space, and where we as a human race are headed next.
